How can I start going to sleep early?

okaay so I have been going to bed reallly late alll summer like maybe 1-4 A.M. is my range of me going to sleep. but id stay in till about 11-12 well anyways the point is I have to start going to bed early like 10-10:30 for school realll soon like monday well my mom and dad would get really mad at me if I stay up any longer than that. and I cant get to sleep that early and wake up that early anymore anyone have any tips on how to get use to going to sleep early and waking up early? if so pleasee help.

stay up lat one night and wake up really early the next morning, this will make you more sleepy at night when you need to go to bed…thats what i do , and it works for me every year

Your body is equipped with a fancy ‘sleep timer’ known as the circadian rhythm. It takes about 7 days or so for your circadian rhythm to begin adjusting to a new sleeping schedule–so it often makes it hard for us to adjust to even minor sleeping changes. Try not napping during the day, go to bed at the same time and wake up at the same time. Although the first week may be the more difficult obstacle to overcome, after that your body can begin adjusting to a new sleeping pattern. Hang in there and if you continue having sleep problems I suggest you see a medical doctor or sleep specialist. :-) -S
