Sleeping issues

I am completely exhausted yet I cannot fall asleep. Any ideas? And counting sheep hasnt helped. lol

If it is a regular problem, get some Melatonin pills from your local vitamin or health store. Melatonin is a natural substance made in the human body. It is not habit forming. One pill before going to bed will give you six to eight hours of restful sleep.

The problem with Melatonin is you can take it for only 1 month and you need to lay off it for a few days before taking it again.
But the real issue is this your adrenals are shot. The adrenals produce adrenaline during the day and melatonin at night. That brings on the sleep. You can also try a glass of milk before going to sleep with melatonin. For this reason milk has calcium in it which helps to relax the body.
Are you a heavy coffee or cola drinker? Those 2 products are very hard on the adrenals. If you are I would like to recommend a product to you. Contact me.

That explains a lot about the melatonin. I don’t drink coffe and I rarely ever drink cola, so that musn’t be the problem either. And I wish I could try the milk idea, but I’m lactose intolerant. lol. Maybe I’m just doomed to insomnia.

I just read on the internet about bananas. They are loaded with melatonin. Try it before going to sleep. I did it and I get a good night sleep. Eventhough I may wake up I go right back to sleep.

Also, you can try nuts. Eat a hand full of trail nuts, no sweets in it, before going to bed. This also works.
