Sleep deprived workout

So I stayed up all night so that I could see my uncle off to the airport and now its morning and I don't plan to sleep because it will ruin my sleeping pattern. I haven't worked out for 2 days and I want to work out today but I am very tired and sleepy. I am sure I can still work out but will I still benefit from it as I am sleep deprived? I feel like swimming today, so by doing laps in the pool and then eating a nice big breakfast-lunch-dinner, will I still gain muscle or will it hurt my health? Thanks, I appreciate your help :) P.s. Anyone ever get a light euphoric high when sleep deprived for the first day? I know after 2 days it just feels like sh*t and almost impossible to stay up.
