Does anyone know if it's right to go down in size if 3 inch pumps fit fine but slip off at the heel while walking?

I saw these amazing denim pumps today and i can’t get them off my mind but i didn’t buy them yet.. i’m a size 10 and they were a size 9 but they were slipping at the heel so i tried a size 8 and i could walk properly and my foot stayed in place better (no slipping) but my big toes were getting smashed up a little.. pain for beauty.. its tolerable and will get stretched out… help me with sizing advice please! =)

Answer #1

Try a 8 wide or a 8 1/2.

Do not wear shoes that are too small for you…it causes caluses, blisters, bad posture, and ultimately foot, leg, and knee pains. If you find a pair in your size or that a slight bit to big that slip…by some gel insoles they make them especially for heels. I makes them more comfortable and also helps with traction and slipping.

I don’t know if they are actually too small.. it seems like they run big and i bought a pair of 2.5 inch heels last year and they were my size and my heel was slipping out all the time then I almost killed myself so many times.. so i got the pads that stick behind your heel to the shoe and that did help but one foot being smaller than the other meant one foot still slipped out sometimes and the other stayed in place. The shoes i saw yesterday are expensive and i really like them and they are taller.. i just don’t want to get stuck with something hard to walk because of the heel slip and if i use those pads that go under the front part of my foot my toes.. the shoes are already a good fit in that part of the shoe in the size 9 and it will push my toes up into the shoe too much.. i have low arch.. is that why i’m having a problem with my heel? here are a couple picts i took of them!!

Answer #4

i’m usually a 41 (10) so the one that slips is 40 and the one that doesn’t slip is 39.. that is size 8 right? I really like these shoes.. i just want to make the right decision ;D

Answer #5

hmmm.. maybe these are 4”?

Answer #6

you can buy things gfor your feet tomake them fit better and avoid slipping, theres sticky pads that can stick to the shoe and your foot, ones for the back of your foot to make them fit more snug to avoid slipping and heaps of other types of things to get shoes fitting better. have a look in a pharmacy for them, if you cant find any feet.shoe products just ask were they have them

Thank you! unfortunately i’m in asia and they don’t have a lot of those shoe products available.. this kind of stuff wish i was home in america so i had access.. thank you!!
