Should I dye it pink? D=

My hair is like the picture, and, liek, I wanna dye the underneath layers bright pink, but I don’t have the money to go to the salon, is it stilla safe move to do it at home if I get my dad to do it, Also, can anyone suggest some bright pink yes that dont fade really quick?

Sure it’s safe.

Here’s what you’ll want to do: Gather the hair you DON’T want to dye, and tie it up and away from the hair you are dying very tightly. Then apply vaseline to it just in case some dye gets on it.

Since your hair is so dark, you’ll need to bleach the part you want to dye pink first. Bleach it out, and then pull your hair up again and vaseline it like you did the first time, and apply the pink dye. I’ve dyed my hair pink like this MANY times, and I highly suggest N’rage hairdye. You can find it at Sally Beauty Supply. I’ve also heard good things about Fudge hairdye. A good way to tell a good dye from a bad one is how thick and stiff it is. The thicker the better.

Also, while the pink dye is on your hair, put a shower cap on your head and apply heat (such as with a blowdryer) for about 30min.

it’s hard to find places with permanent pink and whatnot, I’ve looked so long for purple. uhm do you have any sallys beauty places around your area? if so, try there. I think it’ll look cute(: and yeah, it’s fine to do it at home because it’ll look the same.
