Will brown dye work over pink?

yesteday I went to the hair salon to get 2 pink streaks in my hair. the lady said she was going to do what I wanted but instead she did a lot more than I wanted and im very unhappy. I was going to dye over it with brown but im not sure if it will work over the pink. do you think it will be brown if I used it over the pink ?

I would ask the stylist what type of dye she used. This determines what type of brown dye you’ll have to buy in order. Be honest with her- let her know you love what she did but now that you are used to it, you realize it may be a little too pink. She’ll understand.

thanks =] but today i bought borwn hair dye and it seems to have worked =] bu t it does have a purple-ish tint
