Sure :) If you’ll be of age when the election happens, why not? However…have a back up plan, eg, school or another job, in case you need money & don’t get elected.

I would recomend that you first visit the real working world. Not many people are going to want to pay taxes to somone who hasnt paid much themselves.
Most political offices in the US require you to be 18…I’d imagine it’s the same in the UK…so, how are you going to get elected at 17?
I would need to know a little more about you before I give you an answer on that…and it wouldn’t hurt to be a little bit older.
