Will losing your virginity cause irregular periods?

I’m fifteen. and my boyfriend and I started having sex regularly 2-3 months ago and my periods have been rather regular until now. and I’m 3 days late. and I know that doesn’t seem like a long time late but for me, it is. and after just one day I was freaking out. a friend of mine who lost her virginity about a year ago told me that its normal for your period to be irregular if you have just recently lost your virginity. Am I just being paranoid or is she right?

I lost mine in september olast year. And now after that I only get my period every other month. And I use to have regular periods. But I’m not pregnant so yeah

wait about two weeks and get a pregnancy test. it is not unusual for a girl to have an irregular period. it happen to me.
