Shots hurting

How long are shots surposed to hurt after you get them? Because I got mine 2 or 3 days ago and it still hurts.

Answer #1

It also depends on the viscosity of the vaccine…the needle gauge and the bevel…and your tenseness factor…tightening your muscles leads to more pain…

yes, and stop poking it…

Answer #2

Yep… if you flex your muscle when the needle enters, it can tear muscle fibers, which can take several days to heal.

Answer #3

You know that hole that just got poked into your muscle tissue? It’ll heal faster if you stop poking it. Which you are.

Answer #4

Depends on the shot… Some vaccines can hurt for a couple of days… Do you know what shot it was?
