Will the mall remember her as a shoplifter?

my friend used to shoplift untill she got caught, then she stopped. she was 15 when she did shoplift and just turned 16 so if she goes back to the mall and gets caught for the past shoplifting shes done would they punish her as an adult or a minor? and do you think it would be likely that should would get caught for the past shoplifting? its been 4 months since shes been back to the mall

lela just so you know…your ‘permanent’ record is so permanent…you basically have 2 records…a minor and an adult one…once your considered an ‘adult’ your minor one gets deleted…atleast for everyone except for like people with HUGE status…

they only said she wawsent alowed back at that store again but she scared shes going to get caiught for the past shoplifting shes done if she goes into other stores

Your a minor until you turn 18. So she would get punished as a minor. Did they tell her how long until she could come back? Or did they say she was never aloud back again.?

well dont brag about it. or even TALK about stealing, even to joke. they might suspect something. and try to act calm. if your all tense if you go, they might think your stealing something right then and there. so, review: calm, cool, collected, no bragging, or joking, and dont do it again!

She will get punished, but not as an adult. This charge stays on her permanent record.Shoplifting is illegal and it’s not cool. Your friend needs to grow up and stop doing those things. I hope you are not letting your friend influence you. If you notice that your friend is back to her old habits then you should drop her. Don’t let someone else’s actions affect your future. If your friend shoplifts again and you happen to be there at the same time, you can get charged too. Just be careful and don’t be afraid to stand for what’s right. Good luck.
