ummm I don’t know about the batheing thing…but my shih tzu is now 1 year and 4 monthes but she still wont potty train fully… the thing is that this type of dog is a stubborn gog we took her 2 trainers but it just takes time

Ditto to Harley…the main ingredient in housetraining a pup, is vigilence…you have to watch the puppy ALL the time. Consider housetraining you only priority for the first 2 weeks…All that vigilence will help you “know” the signs of when she’s just about to go…don’t let her follow you to the door (or she’ll pee before you get there)…pick her up, and take her out. DO NOT come in until she has gone…say “Go Pee”…or “Pee Pee”…and then make like she’s the best thing since sliced bread, that she went. If won’t take long before she’ll pee on command, and your time spent outside will be short.

you can give her a bath, use mild shampoo like baby sahampoo. Make sure you do not get water in her ears Potty training takes patience and consitency. You must take her out when she wakes up, done eating, of if she is playing and all of the sudden looses intrest and starts sniffing around, Try to take her to the same door. crate train her when you are not home or at night. crate training is good and is not a bad thing. I recomend getting some books or look up advice on the internet. And have a good feeding schudel. Good luck
