What's wrong with our Cocker Spaniel?
tuesday night 9-18-07 our female pregnant cocker spaniel went to bed just fine and woke up wednedsay morning 9-19-07 with paralysis in her hind legs. there was no trauma to her and the vet cant find a reason. has anyone ever heard of this and what might help her.
It kind of happened to my dog and they did an Xray and found out that she had a herniated disc. I had the options of surgery or putting her in a cage so she could relax her muscles and let the disc slip back in place. We put her in a cage and after a week she started to walk again!
The same thing happened to one of my dogs and she died within a day. If your vet doesn’t know what’s wrong with your dog, try to consult another vet.
Take her to a vet. Good luck!
