I havent been eating bc of stress and just plain out not feeling good... i am dropping pounds but not like majorly bc i didnt stop eating just only eat once a day.... do you think wen I go to my therapy appointment they will send me to a rehab for tht or make me stay in a clinic?
i was the same way for about 7 months wen i started high scool cuz everything would stress me out and i had friend and family problems. wat i did was substitute things. eating made me nauseating especially in the morning. for breakfast i had the chocolate incarnations which is chocolate milk that givs u enough energy to go through the day without making u nauses. for lunch i would try to hav atleast 3 bites of a sandwich and dinner i had the same goal as i had for lunch. it wasnt enough but eventually my body got use to this food and eventually started accepting more and more. it comes with patience and encouragement so i dont think rehab will be the answer. i think the most they will giv u meds to deal with ur anxiety and stress. good luck :)
Rehab is for people with addictions. You're talking about an inpatient eating disorder clinic. Those are extremely expensive and generally last resort. They try to do everything else first. Unless the person is at serious risk. Also not eating because of stress is not the same thing as having an eating disorder, and so there would be no point in going to an eating disorder clinic. Now if you're not eating for other reasons, that's a different issue. How about this. Try to take it one day at a time. No one is just going to pack you to anywhere. They will talk to you about it and see what the best thing to do is. You will be included in this discussion. So take a deep breath. And see what the therapist says, ok?
i know but everytime I try to eat I get sick and I dont know if it has to do with the sleeping pills/depression pills my dock have me on or what it is..
im not a doctor or anything but for now just eat even if it makes u sick, just keep eating. nd tell ur therapist bout it nd youll get help :)
i dont think thats a matter of rehab. i dont think they will, but i really think u shud start eating , that wont help anything if u dont
