I'm having really bad lower back pain and it started a few years ago from a fall but went away and has came back but worse and will not go away. I've been in Physical Therapy for 25 visits and it didn't get better. I went to see the spine specialist today and he is sending me for an MRI but said that he thinks it's just joints that can be fixed with steroids, but that popping my lower back alot would help. I thought that was frowned upon?
Having your spine adjusted by a chiropractor is fine ... trying to do it yourself can be risky.
It sounds more like he's recommending that you stretch it out, not literally pop it.
he told me just to like twist in a chair and do it that way
