Relief from period cramps

Ugh ihave like really bad cramps right now >:[

What do you use to get rid of them ?

I’ve used : midol, advil and ibuprofen that the doctor prescribed me for cramps. None of them seem to work well for me.

Also, is it true that birthcontrol makes cramps hurt less…because im on the pill and it doesnt do anything to my cramps.

Yes it is true certain types of the pill make cramps less painfull, but differnt pills affect differnet people in different ways. Light exerscie really helps but onthing stenuous, just gentle. Hot water bottles also help. You’ll more often than not find that keeeping busy helps anyway as youre mind isnt fixated on the pain.

seriously, ik this sounds mad stupid but birth control is relle good. it literally STOPS cramps, like completely. talk to your e doctor, and no she wont laugh bc many women go on it jsut for cramps, not bc of sx and babies and stuff…

Answer #3

I personally use a heating pad when I’m at home to relieve the cramps and backaches and it works great! I feel better and with the heat, I can hardly feel the pain.

Also, I’ve never heard that being on birth control is suppose to make the cramps hurt any less. I’m on birth control and I still get horrible cramps and back pains, which is why I use a heating pad.
