Relationship Help!

So in my previous post I talked about how this guy at work likes me and we have gone on a date and then together to a work drinking night. We now are invited to a couples dinner with a bunch of people from work. We are in both agree to go so thats not the issue. I somehow and sometime need to tell my mom about this. My mom is protective but told me last week that I am almost 19 and doesnt care if get together with boys. I just don’t know how to tell her that we aren’t quite dating but kinda there. Help!

Just tell her that you’re going out with a bunch of people from work and tell her that a guy you’re interested there will be there and you’re his date. You’re 19, you’re an adult and can make your own decisions.
