How do I take our relationship to the next level? Please Help!?

There is a boy I like a lot. I told him that I like him and he said that he just wanted to be friends. This was a couple of months ago. Since then I have talked to him almost everyday after school. We have become very very close friends. I tell him everything except for the fact that I feel like I’m in love with him. I feel almost like he feels the same way to. I don’t want to wreck our friendship but if he feels the same way I want to take our relationship to the next level. I need some advice!!!

If he has said he wants to be friends, and yet you guys are this close, I seriously advise you not to bring it to the next level. By doing that, you first of all show that you disregarded his wish that you remain friends.

If you tell him you love him, which is probably the only way if you do want to take the relationship up a bit higher by yourself, you are risking your friendship. He knows that you like him - so to have any hope of getting your relationship to the next level, it has to be him who tells you he likes you.

If this boy said that he just wants to be friends, I don’t think that you should try to push having a relationship with him. He has stated that he doesn’t feel that way about you, and although it’s hard, I think that you need to try to respect him and your friendship for what it is; friends, nothing more.
