What are some reasons I could have lost my appetite for the past few days?

The past week I’ve noticed my food intake went down a lot. I didnt even notice it, I was just never hungry. And same with the amount of food I eat, like, I sometimes just cant stomach food and I cant eat it.

I havent eaten anything in almost a day besides small things like crackers that I tried to eat. Ive also been losing weight. I do have a history of mental illness(bipolar) that I’m being medicated for, but Ive been on this medication for almost 2 years and never had this side effect. I don’t feel sick, in fact I feel perfectly fine. I know this could hurt me in the long run, so anyone know why i’m never hungry? I get so nauseous from forcing myself to eat.

This is something that your doctor should be treating you for. All we can do is offer you a million guesses without actually helping you.

Answer #4

Being sad, depressed, meaby you are thinking about something that bothers you. Meaby you are in this thing that you are watching your weight too much. Theres a lot of things that can make that happen. Meaby try talking to someone see if that helps out.

Answer #5

I would really check this out with your doctor. It is really easy to get used to the feeling of not eating and that along with some positive feedback for how great you look because you’ve lost weight can end up becoming an eating disorder. Trust me, that is something you do NOT want! Please see your doctor.
