Do you think soon racism will no longer exist, or do you think it will become worse sort of like it used to be?

Answer #1

It’s getting better but I don’t think its going away. Some people are just generally a racist person depending on how they grew up or what they were exposed to. That’s no excuse of course but I think that’s how it happens a lot of the time.

Answer #2

I dont believe it will happen soon, but racism is dying out. As the older generation ages and dies off, so does their racism and the roots of it. Of course in places like where i live that are deep in the south, it will take much longer. We still have kkk klan members and meetings down here, but we were one of the last states along with mississippi to abolish slavery so were still behind the rest of the us on changes. Its fading though….just like homophobia is fading slowly…it will over time. You just cant expect people to change their views and ways of thinking over night when they have been raised to believe certain things.

Answer #3

I don’t think it will disappear, but it will diminish some, I think more people will be one race than not, thr r to many people mixing races for this not to happen.

Answer #4

I think racism stems from not only your parents, but from events that may occur in ones live, stereotypes during wars or other tragic events that the media may tie to one race. I think the best way to rid the world of racism is through education.

Answer #5

I agree with imlonely I think that it will not disappear but it may settle down a bit. There are still KKK out there and there are racist gangs too.

Answer #6

I believe that Some day it will no longer exist :D !

Answer #7

As Russell Peters said, “ the whole world will become beige at one pint of time” , lmaoo….( which i believe will happen someday) because people today do not really mind being with someone from a different race!

Answer #8

There will always be people that are racist, sexist, etc. But yes I do believe that racism generally is slowly disintegrating. I mean, it has to be, right? Not even 100 years ago coloured people were still being treated as slaves, now Obama is the US president. We’ve gotta be getting somewhere!! Haha. Hopefully the same thing starts happening with gay marriage..

Answer #9

I dont think so, there will always be that one pearson who judges and things as such, this world was not ment to be perfect, it has no sence if its perfect.
