Or my availability or hours I can work?
I want to begin handing in resumes, however, I will not be available at all throughout all of August. Is there a way I can write it in my resume or cover letter that I can't begin until September?
I've read that it is not recommended to put availability or hours I can work on resume or cover letter, but is this the same for a full time student with very specific and odd hours?
Cover letter; not resume. Put it in the positive, "looking to start in September," rather than in the negative, "not available through August." Mention the course of study you're enrolled in, so they know you'll be in school. That lets them know you'll have a school schedule you'll have to work around, without getting specific about it until/unless they're interested in hiring you.
If your happy with the resume, I would let it stand alone and attatch a seperate page stating this situation. It's also always good to speak with the person who my be reading it and introduce yourself. Your impression upon them can go a long way.
Thank you :)
Thank you!
