I'm trying to update my resume for this year, im looking up the new format etc. But what are the best things to put/keep out of a resume. (I am looking for my first job, im a teen) help?
Just like Haley-Lynn mentioned, these points are of great use. And the best way to make a Resume, depends of the type of job you are looking for... For example, a job that requires creativity, then you have to make your resume more creative. Or if you are looking for a job that requires being systematic, like an Accountant, then make your Resume systematic as well... But one thing I disagree with Haley-Lynn is that, I have done a lot of research regarding this Resume-making, I saw that it's not good to provide the references' details. You could put "AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST" under the References section!!! You should give references, ONLY if THEY DO ASK specifically for it.....
Your experience, abilities, specialties, past jobs, volunteer work, community service, extra curriculars, references(2 or more), good qualities, weaknesses(refrian from any that wouldn't get you the job lol), & make sure you are available almost all the time(people like that cause they can rely on you to be there).
