An alternative to grease proof paper is to butter the tray lightly then sprinkle flour all around. It helps prevent from sticking to the bottom of the tray. Don't only grease the tray, it can still cause it to stick. Flour helps taking them off the tray easily.
Do you have paper muffin liners? Same concept...just flatten them on the pan.
I think Brown paper or foil might work
