What should I do about a pulled foot?

I can’t put barely ANY weight on it.

Answer #1

soak it in hot water for 20 minutes, or if u can, wrap (or stand on) a heating pad for 20 minutes. but not longer than that, otherwise ittl cause ur muscles to overheat, and thatll hurt even worse in the morning

Answer #2

Answer #4

Answer #5

Sit down and elevate it above your heart? If it is not a sprain–as in–you didn’t do anything to hurt yourself and now it hurts, look for a red patch on your ankle. If it is cellulitis you need to see a doctor.

Answer #9

My husband thought he’d sprained his ankle last week. There was a red patch on the ankle. It was sore to touch. It hurt to walk. They even did an ultra sound to see if it was a blood clot due to knee surgery. I was out of town and he went to the doctor twice without success. I came home, saw it, looked up red patch on ankle and saw pictures of cellulitis. I began a regime of homegrown herbal poultices and last night a small bump came to a head and drained. He is better today and went to Physical Therapy for the knee. The therapist recognized celluitis right away. The red patch linked with what it said about having Athlete’s Foot is what made me treat him for cellulitis. If you have splits in your skin, you can get an infection from a fungus entering there. I guess you don’t have to have Athlete’s Foot to get it…

Answer #10

Elevate it and alternate between an ice pack and a heating pad. Put each on for about 15 minutes with 30 minutes inbetween. And definitely keep off the foot.

Answer #11

Cellulitis (not to be confused with cellulite) is a skin infection and is noticeable by red, inflamed skin.
