Why haven't I hit puberty when I'm 18?
I am 18, and still haven’t hit puberty. Is there something wrong with me?
One possibility that you may want to discuss with your physician would be delayed puberty. This is normally caused by a variety of hypothalamic, pituitary, and gonadal disorders that results in inadequate steroid secretion.
For questions as to treatment and prognosis - that would certainly depend on what is found during workup.
I would suggest a referral to an endocrinologist that can be arranged through your personal physician.
Followup with your personal physician is essential.
