why don't you see much protesting in america nowadays compared to the 60's and 70's?

There are still plenty of protests in the country if you pay attention. Although i agree the numbers are not as high, i honestly think that a majority of the problem is that people just dont care about issues as much as the used to. Society has gotten pretty lazy and don tend to pay attention to the issues as much.

Apathy, laziness…. The protests of the 60s and 70s mostly were involving the youth of America. I am not sure we could get enough young people off their cell phones to protest much today.
