Do you think the recent problems with Toshiba laptops are going to make a huge impact on their general sales?

Some brands of Toshiba laptops have been recalled because of overheating, causing some serious burns, but do you think that people will avoid Toshiba products in general?

No, I don’t. Toshiba usually has pretty good quality products, aside from this recall. So I do believe that faithful customers will return to them.

I think people who hear about that will probably choose a different lap top brand. One that hasn’t really had any problems or recalls…My girlfriend had a Toshiba lap top, it was about $1,000 with tax included. She had so many problems with it, and now…it’s stored under a bed, covered in dust. It doesn’t even work anymore…My brother has a Compaq lap top, and it was only about $300. He hasn’t had any problems out of it, and my girlfriend is wanting to get a Compaq. She says she is never getting another Toshiba.
