Why does my laptop make a buzzing noise when I am playing music, or watching a video?
Some times it happens when I switch windows, other times I’m doing nothing and it would randomly do this. As well, when I am playing a video, it would sometimes freeze or just the video would freeze but the audio would keep going. I recently had everything redone and reinstalled on my laptop and I’m pretty sure all my drivers are up to date.
Well I think that the speakers are malfunctioning. If your computer makes a “buzzing noise” when your laptop emits sound, then that indicates that something is wrong with the hardware and not the software. You might be looking outside the box. Your drivers may not have anything to do with this problem but instead the auidojack or the speakers themselves. This is a theory and it is what I consider the problem is but you might want to take your laptop to the manufacturer or even a computer technician. :) I hope this helps.
Are you clogging up the vents? It could be that the heat is being trapped inside and causing the “Smartfan” feature to turn up the speed of the fans. If it is doing it all the time, then I think you might need to open that laptop and see if something is lose in there. For me, I had this problem, and upon opening my case, found that my CPU fan was playing with my case fan’s wires.
For the lag, look in your services in Windows to see if a program is using up too many resources which can cause lag. If none of that helps, then RMA that laptop and see if they can replace it.
