are the prisons more nicer now ?

I hope its hell in there.

My dad said they are still perty bad, violance is still a problem, police has gotten tougher and the food is not the best. The cells are still bit dirty and the beds not so contorble and you still have to go to the bathroom in front of everyone. I dont think changes are going to happen when it comes to ja.il, the people there are not soppost to enjoy their stay.

Hahah…. Funny. Yah no. My dad worked, I repeat WORKED at a prison and is now practically scarred from the experience. If a guard who has a gun and a bat 24/7 is scared of people behind bars than I doubt it will ever get better. My dad says it’s hell in there, a place full of hatred. Don’t over risk going there.

prisons are not supposed to be country clubs, if it were up to me i would make them even harsher with less creature comforts and serious consequences for not abiding by the rules. so to answer your quetion- i don’t believe that they will ever change. i wish some of the policies would change, like actually executing death row and life imprisonment inmates instead of letting them live for years and years- that would begin to make room for the growing inmate population and take some of the financial burdens off of the american public to house the dregs of society.

My father was a prison guard a few years back, and he told me that they work around the prison for change, and then they use it to see a movie. This is Jackson State Prison in Jackson Michigan. They have A MOVIE theater in there… They sell you cigs… Because there is some thing about “by law” you can hold them against there will but it has to be a certian comfort level or its considered torture or some nonsence.
