Why can't they see anything at 6 weeks pregnant?

Hi I wonder if someone can help me.. im 19 and have a gorgeous lil girl whos 21 months.. I’ve also had 2 miscarriages this year #1 in Jan and #2 in August.. im now pregnant again and drivin myself crazy worryin.. I went for an early scan last monday and I was told that the yolk sac was 13mm and that ill need to come bk in 12 days because it need to be 25mm before they can see anything and I was 6 weeks and I need to be 7 and a half.. but when I search for pictures on the net at 6 weeks theres always something inside the sac? Thanks.

I’m so sorry for your loss - the medicals professionals have no reason to mislead, I would trust them and not worry…I wish you the very best !!

hmm as far as I know they can see a fetus from 6wk. I had a scan at 6w 3d…when I had my m/c…you could see a small blob then. I’m so sorry to hear of your losses, I understand your pain. hugs x
