Type one diabetes comes from your body not having enough insulin, type two diabetes comes from the insulin in your body not working right, and it not doing your job. I don’t really know how you get high cholesterol, but it does have to do with what you eat, your weight, and if you are putting so much in that your body is getting way more than what it really needs.
simple way to know the cause of diabetes, Type 1 is genetic you are born with it. Type 2 is life style, the way you eat, exercise etc…affects if you get diabetes. Type 2, depending on the severity is reversible without medication.
Type 1 is now believed to be an auto-immune disease where our own body fights against the insulin producing cells in the pancreas. One theory is that babies’ “leaky guts” allow some undigested protein to directly enter the bloodstream and this protein resembles pancreatic beta cells closely enough that the antibodies we produce in response also attack the insulin producing cells in the pancreas.
yeah type 1 is auto-immune. the immune system attacks bata cells in the pancreas which is where insulin is produced.
