What is post secondary education?

Is it like going back to school after you graduated?

Answer #1

Primary = grade school. Secondary = high school. Post = after… so post secondary usually refers to college.

Answer #2

No it is such things as Colleges of Further and Higher Education and University. It probably also includes such things as formal in service training and apprenticeships, though certain areas of legislation make clear distinctions between Education and Training, so in some contexts, training will not be classed as post secondary education. .
