how many points do you get for asking a question or posting a status update and when you answer/comment?

Status updates have no points, nor do comments on them. If you answer something and someone “likes” it, you get the point value indicated in red under “WRITING GREAT ANSWERS”. That varies by category. Jobs and Money have the highest point value. If you post a valuable question in a category, you get the same amount of points. You just have to be sure to categorize it. This question gave you one point. If you “like” this answer, I get one point. You also get a point for uploading a video, but nothing else. Have fun :)
