Poem 'Dreaming of Escape' (please read)

Hi guys. I write a fair bit of poetry and recently posted some on a poetry website that was supposed to provide feedback. I didn’t get many comments and thought I’d post it here as well. I’m not sure on the layout, whether it looks a bit ‘choppy’ and also how some bits rhyme and some are free verse, but if you could give me any kind of feedback that would be good. Dreaming of Escape

A full moon hangs low in the sky and all I want is to escape and fly. Fly away someplace high. Swim through soft clouds & feel gentle hands stroking my back. Guiding my dreams into peaceful lands where there was no hate no evil no pain. Where you choose your fate. And all that existed was love. Where seas of tranquility washed away the years of hurting and crying. But soft white clouds turn black, turn angry & suddenly throw me into blinding sounds stumbling back Into the harsh reality of life. Where your dreams are your only means of escape.

Very nice :) All the poems I ever wrote are kind of personal so almost all of them are only either myself or the person I wrote it for.

damn not bad. infact I’m impressed. your writing has given me beautiful images into my mind and shot chills thru my blood stream.excelent work doll. very short and perfect. I normally do not enjoy other peoples work, only my own creations. but I certainly enjoyed this, its a great piece of art so props to you. I was on a dumb poem site as welll called post poems. I stopped usin it like 2 years ago tho and I post my stuff on here because you get a lot of replys usually. you should check out some of my work. you might enjoy it ;)
