Read my poem song thingy?

I’ve “stole” a line from a song I know, but changed the words around a bit to make it my own.

Wake up. Cry a bit. Maybe even give up. Why is this so hard?

Wake up and cry abit. Maybe even give up.

Wake up and cry abit. Why is this so hard?

Dreams that I’ll just disappear, Get smaller and smaller everyday, But in your eyes I’m getting bigger in every way. Tonight I think I’m just gunna cry my heart out, ‘because you don’t have a clue. I’ll get to the top, I will, I will With a hand there to pull me up. Looking at myself, but wishing I was someone else Laughing at myself because I know I ain’t all that. Suck it in, fatty, you aint all that. I want to feel my bones, baby I want to throw up my guts for self-esteem I hate it, but I love the taste. Your my obssession. I want to be so skinny that I rot from view… So I’ll just keep fighting my way to perfection, Whatever you say I ain’t getting crushed by the world t’day. Even if I know you don’t mean it, Will you just say you understand with a smile? Hold me in your arms for five seconds longer. I love it when you keep me safe. Sleep deprived, My minds racin’, What to be? What you want, girl? 85lb please, but make it quick! You’ll never say goodnight to me, believe me, believe me Your little girls growin’ up, Look at me, mummy. I bet your so damn proud…

If you’ve took the time to read it, comment?? :d Thankies!

One question: If you like it, why do you like it? What is about it that you like? I’d like to use that to help me when it comes to writing other poems :)

Answer #1

I like it because you are telling how your emotions feel in a way where its clean. Your giving the reasder the ability to think inside your mind.

your more than welcome to ask my opinion on future poems =]
