How do I see my love if her family doesn't like me?

Hi I am dhanaraj from India. I need advice in love. My love dined past one month because of her. She is a very sentimental character. Her family said a lie: that they go for death if she marries me. Her family said that we are lower caste then her family. She also accepts it and now she told me that she agree with her family’s comments and will follow what her family said. What do I do now?

Dear dhanaraj, Our North American ways are much different than the East Indian ways. I would suggest you seek out a counsellor in your area. Sounds like your girl is obeying her family wishes so I suggest you respect that and move on with your life. Sue…good luck
