Yes it is possible. The recommended amount to lose per week is usually no more than 2-3 lbs. Marathon runners have been known to lose up to 15lbs just from water weight alone.
I can and have lost 3 lbs in one day but I don't think one could keep that up for a very long period of time. Besides it wouldn't be healthy.

no it is not possible to loose 31 lbs evry week...it wld take you a lot longer to loose 31 lbs in one week
