Welcome to Fun Advice!

Maybe your health/body isn’t improving as fast as they would like. Just relax and enjoy the care and attention you are receiving. Anorexia is a killer. Fun Advice just lost one of its beautiful 15 year olds two weeks ago to anorexia/bulimia. She went from 102 to 52 pounds in three months and her body simply quit.

Maybe you could occupy yourself by answering questions on Fun Advice. If you want a challenge, go to the oldest questions that don’t have any answers and see if you can answer them. If you have to do research, like on Google, you may even learn things that you didn’t know.

Feel free to Fun Mail me or others on Fun Advice if you need someone to talk to.

Relax girl, they need to monitor your body for improvements, which can take some time. I’m not sure, but they might also be trying some different medication on you to see which one will help you better. You’re doing great so far, keep it up!

Treatment for Anorexia involves more than simple medical treatment. It is also vitally important to dig down and find out WHY you have this distorted view of your body that you would endanger your life by not eating. They are being careful. I’m sure they have a GOOD reason to keep you, e.g., you have told them you intend to go back to not eating when you get out. You need to get your mind wrapped around the root ISSUES causing your anorexia, and make sure you have CONTROL over your condition. But hey - it’s only your life on the line here, right?

If you dont mind me asking.. what treatment center are you at..? I just got home from one on the EC. I had to stay for 11 months, they may not want you to go home yet becuase 1)You may not be to a healthy weight yet. 2)you may not be recovered enough to avoid a relapse..[and its reallly easy to relapse especially when you have a stressful life]. or 3) your eating habbits may not be to a good level yet.

I hope you get better soon. Your in my prayers. <3 alliee
