This means that the baby is overtop of the placenta and the placenta could be partially or totally covering your cervix. If the placenta ruptures you could bleed out if you do not have emergency care. Also when you go into labor if the placenta comes out first it will rupture and the baby and yourself would be in danger of bleeding to death.
Take it easy, try not to stress out because with the way medical care is today, they can fix pretty much anything. Just do what the doctors tell you and when they tell you to have bed rest, do it. Keeping your baby (and yourself) safe is all you need to do right now.
