pigeon poop safe to be around when pregnant?

my friend went on maternity leave from work and left her office window open by mistake , its been 3 months now and she asked me to get her something out of her office for her but when I opened the door the smell and mess that I saw was awful because a lot of pigeons had got in and done their buisness every where ! how do I clear up this mess , my friend wants to come in and help but I dont think its safe as she is pregnant , can you help ?

I think that it might be some what dangerous for her to be around that but if she wears a mask that you wear when your sanding and gloves then I think that you might be ok, but just to be safe you should probibly do it yourself. btw carpet cleaners help a lot if it’s carpet and if it’s wood or tiles then rent a buffer so it wont leave spots on the floor.

pigeon poop is not healthy for anyone .. it would not kill you but do not allow your pregnant frien to be around it … as with all poop so to speak … it is full of germs and it is best not to take chances when pregnant.

Yes, your pregnant friend should definitely stay away. There is a nasty and potentially very dangerous condition called toxoplasmosis that can be spread by animal excrement - including pigeon dung.
