Is it safe to get pregnant after a miscarriage?

I would love to know.. I’ve had a miscarriage, and I think I may be pregnant again. I cannot really excuse my actions, but that’s not what I’m asking so please don’t make comments about my choices.

I just want to know- how safe is it to be pregnant 4 or 5 months after a miscarriage?

Answer #1

I agree a body is 100% capable at that age and time since miscarriage. We are not here to judge so if you need any advice or help you can always email me sweets.

You’re 16, so your body can handle a pregnancy. As far as your miscarriage goes, as long as you are feeling okay, it is safe to get pregnant anytime after a miscarriage. Some doctors suggest waiting one cycle so that your hormones are back in normal gear. Plenty of women carry healthy babies 4-5 months after a miscarriage.

Answer #3

Yeah, that’s what I was afraid of. I’ve thought about that before, but if I am pregnant, I want to make sure I can do whatever it takes to keep the baby healthy- even if most of it is out of my reach, I just want to confirm that I’m doing everything I can do..

Answer #4

At your age, it isn’t really safe to be pregnant at all.

A miscarriage could have been your body’s way of telling you that you aren’t ready.
