why are quite people shy to talk or do anything?

because theyre scared of making mistakes that people will react to. Some people are just like to keep to themselves and dont like to talk to people :s

Quiet people are not always shy. And if they are shy, they don’t talk because they either don’t know what to say, or they know what to say but don’t say it because it might come out retarded. Same as ‘anything’. This is coming out of a shy person. :I

Perhaps the quietness comes from the shyness and not the shyness from the quietness? Basically being shy is having a social phobia. Which means being scared of doing something in front of other people. It would explain why people who were scared would be quiet… they’re scared of messing up…

well you know what’s nice about phobias? they’re simple, if not easy, to cure… you face your fears and the anxiety goes down… i dunno how, but it just does…

They’re afraid of what people would think of them…….. When the truth is, they couldn’t care less.

Some are just quiet because they don’t have much good or useful to say. I have friends and spend a lot of time with them, but I try not to open my mouth unless I feel something needs to be said or to respond to a conversation. I find myself thinking more than talking.

people are afraid of socializin because they feel uneasy. maybe in their past, they have had a bad expierene with it so maybe that is why they are shy
