Why do people order a Diet Coke with their ten-thousand-calorie, super-sized, fast food meal?

some people actually like the taste of diet. I know a girl who literally has to eat every 2 hours or she loses weight, and she drinks diet pepsi.

Well 2000 calories + 0 calories is better than 2000 calories plus another 500. Maybe they normally diet but that day was a special occasion so they’re eating fast food and they want to decrease the damage, maybe they just like the taste. It’s sort of upsetting to me that you would judge- why should it matter to you? You’re not eating the ‘ten thousand calorie, super sized, fast food meal’ and it’s not like they’re shoving it down your throat. It’s THEIR meal, no one’s asking you to police their eating habits or to even watch. It’s their body- leave them be.

Because adding 50 grams of sugar to transfat,cholesterol and grease is probably not the best idea lol

They may be diabetic … they can eat the greasy stuff, but they need a sugar free cola.

I like the taste of diet coke as well. I found it pretty addictive. Note that some prisoners on death row request diet Coke with their last meal. They obviously aren’t worried about putting on a few pounds.
