Why do people likeladybugs?

Some people hate all sorts of insects and will freak out if any bug walks across their hand. Except the ladybug. Even the most touchy, hysterical people will be delighted to see a ladybug walk across their hand. Why is this?

Because they’re cute and called a “lady” bug, they know it won’t hurt them.

I don’t know about that because I for one am one of those “touchy hysterical people” who will indeed freak out if a bug fly’s near me.! & when it comes to lady bugs I still freak out because honestly there just beetles .! that come in different colors like red with black dots or orange with black spots or black with red spots , yellow .. you get my point… I HATE ALL KIND OF INSECTS .!

Eewwwwww i hate ladybirds D: the black with red dots just scares me even more because my sister told me they were poisonous to stop me picking them up ha. I used to think they were cute then i saw a picture of them up close and thought they were disgusting.

People like ladybugs because they are not icky, they do not bite or sting, they do not infest things, they are pretty and sometimes they act friendly by landing on your hand and letting you look at them up close.
