Paying Attention.
Are there any ways to pay really good attention to an instructor trying to teach you things.. I tend to drift off while people are talking to me.. even if I Really want to listen.
Follow blerggher’s advice. I also drift of and sitting as close as possible really helps you to focus also concentrating on taking notes etc helps.
I am a visual learner, so I take notes and focus on the physical writing. Rewriting the notes later really reinforces it. Good Luck!!

That happens when I am too. Well it depends what kind of learner you are. I am kinestetic so I have to be moving constantly. My mom is a teacher and she said that if you are that kind of learner that you shouild just get a eraser and play with it..anything that can keep you focused. Try that. It might sound like it would make you less focused but it works. Tell me if this helps or not.
