I want to go to partys!!
I really want to go to house partys and raves with my best mate but my parents would never let me go! My mate tells me about them and they sound amazing her parents dont no she goes but she has never been court going to one yet, I want to now how I can go with out my parents knowing? im 14 btw and so is my best mate...

I'm not going to preach to you about drugs, especially ecstacy, mainly because I was a major kandi kid, and did xtc for 6 years straight. What bothers me is you saying that you don't want to do it, and also saying that it's not like their doing cocaine. Cocaine and Ecstacy are both hard drugs. Believe me I've done it all. Ecstacy actually has a way bigger affect on you than cocaine does. So dont down play it. Also, if your constantly hanging out with people who are doing xtc, I dont care how much you say you dont want to do it. You are going to try it. Once you try it, that's usually it. It's a very appealing drug. It's called the love/party drug for a reason. There are no bad feelinds or side affects while you are on it. None whatsoever. It's the comedown and the long term affects that get you. Xtc uses up all the seratonin (the stuff that makes you happy), in your brain. When you come down, you have none left. It takes time to regenerate it, this is why most people get depressed after using it. Also, over long period of use, it can mess up your seretonin levels and leave you with depression and anxiety issues. I used it for 6 years straight. I'm now on anti-depression/anxiety medicine because of my long time use.
Partys are dangerous. Date rape drugs they put in drinks, Trying to get you drunk... It's so easy to slip up.
I've went to many parties, so many people getting drunk, having sex in the next room. It's not pretty. When my girlfriend is allowed to go to a party, I'll be right there with her every second. Have someone you know, someone really trustworthy go with you. If your thinking of going alone, Don't go at all.
Sneaking out isn't really a good thing either, I've been there. Haven't gotten caught but only by my girlfriends mom. That was worse enough, she was grounded and we didn't see each other for a month. Her mom still dislikes me, Which is the price I have to pay.
Just remember, Everything you do there's always a consequence for it. There's never a "Get out of jail for free" card.
Please be careful if you do decide to go. Make sure you have a very loyal and trustworthy person with you.
Did you read my post though. If you start going to raves, where everyone is taking xtc, eventually you are going to try it, I dont care how much you say you wont. I've seen it all. I've brought people with me that vowed they would never touch a drug, not even marijuana. They all ended up trying it. Ecstacy is very alluring. It's the love drug. It makes you happy and care free when your on it. Everythings amazing and you will never experience anything like it. If you are surrounded by people who are on it and bragging about it, eventually you are going to try it.
You are 14 years old, there is no reason why you should be at a house party or a rave. I'm sorry that's the answer you want, but it's the truth. I surely hope your getting the term rave mixed up with something else, because a real rave (is illegal and everyone does drugs). Dont sneak out or go without them knowing. You will lose all of their trust, and that's the hardest thing to get back. Respect your parents and give it time. Dont try and grow up so fast. You have plenty of time to do things like that.
Have you even tried asking them if you could go to a party or are you assuming they wont let you go.
Seriously though, stay away from the raves for your own best interest.
You AND your best friend sound very very irresponsible and childish. You do not need to be going to parties and raves. Drugs and alcohol are NOT good, and you(and she) do not need to be getting into that. I suggest that you respect your parents, dont go to the parties and raves, and grow up some.
I can beileve how shallow minded and naive you are thinking that ecstasy isnt a bad drug! God, wake up. If your going to go to these places you have to be strong minded and say no to these drugs. If you think they're not bad then your way to immature to go these places in the first place im afraid
I hate to be a party pooper (yes I'm a parent but it wasn't that long ago I was a teenager) but if you were to sneak out and go and they find out you probably won't be going anywhere for a very long time...they're just trying to protect you...not be mean.
Good luck. You never know, a lot of people underestimate their parents. I thought my parents were super strict when I was younger, but eventually I just got up the courage to start asking to do things. I was suprised at their answers.
lol I've never asked because I NO FOR A FACT they wont let me go! but I might try being really good before one comes up and maybe c if I could get away with going!

lol I've seen my friend throw up every where because after taking it it wasnt pretty! and thats not my point my point is how can I get to go to house partys with out my parents knowing?
GO ROUND TO YOUR FRIENDS HOUSE THAQT IS ALOUD TO GO ON THE NIGHT OF THE PARTY! then go with her. Duh your mum and dad will NEVER find out.! :) hope this helps ;)xxx

Parents = trying to their best at looking after your best interests, loving, and CARING - many, many, don't CARE, be Thankful !!
