Painful stomach aches, help!

My boyfriend is having really random, painful stomach aches, they hurt him a lot that he needs to lay down in a fetal position. It’s really starting to worry me, does anyone know why this is? If it is still happening by the end of today, I’m making him go to the doctors, this has been going on all week. Help, please. S:

Take him to the ER or get his family too ASAP. If he is in that much pain that he is huddled over, he needs to go the ER.

If he has pain in the right side of his stomach area, along with a temperature, being sick, nausea or not eating, it may be appendicitis. I had it when I was 11 years old and they had to take me to hospital and remove my appendix. It could be very serious. If it’s not appendicitis, it could be Irritable Bowel Syndrome. It causes either very bad constipation or the exact opposite of that. It gets extremely painful. I am an IBS sufferer and a few times the pain is so bad I get taken to hospital. But there’s not a lot that can be done about it. Some doctors may suggest such a procedure as a colonic or enema (which can be quite embarrassing, although effective). But most times people just take strong laxatives to help their bowels. I hope this helps you.
