Answer #1

It’s their job to look after your best interests - they Love you and Care - be Thankful - many, many parents don’t.

Answer #2

dude my dad is kinda like that cept its like I hafta plan everything like a few days ahead and its annoying. not 2 mention I hafta have all the info like phone numbers, even of movie theaters, but how long since your last anxiety attack?

Answer #3

they just want you to be safe. try talking to them. telling them exactly how you feel. and tell them you will make compromises. (like calling them every so often) my mom’s really protective to, and before I go somewhere we play 20 questions. but I just tell her I’ve never broke her trust befofe, and I dont plan on doing it now. tell them, im sure they’ll listen! good luck! :)

Answer #4

uuugh me 2!!! I hate my parents restrictions… that is why I dont like them.

Answer #5

my dad is like that but for no reason im not a bad kid so I don’t know he does this but I know how you feel.

Answer #6

First, you’re lucky your mom cares so much. It would be much worse if she just said “whatever”.

Talk to your mom and tell her how you feel and that you know she just cares about you. Then try smaller steps like going to the store alone, then the movies, etc etc until she knows you’ll be alright.
