sorry if its worded poorly i did not know how to word it
I think dreams have meanings, even if we are having issues in our personal life our uncontentious mind tends to help us work out the situation by setting it up where we have this whole scenario going on...its why most people will say if when you are conscience you still remember your dream or at least bits of them, write them down so you can some what make sense of them. Every dream has a meaning behind it dealing with something like mentioned when stressed out, it turns up even as a nightmare, for it may be something you fear in your life, like an issue, something that may affect you or someone in your life...in your dream or nightmare it will reveal the fears, or possibilities!
I believe that theories werent just theories because someone said they were, they were based on scientific facts...its why psychologists etc...use those same theories based on studies that were proven based on facts!
Our brains work in a mysterious way, til this very day we still dont really know much about the brain & all its functions... I am not sure how much of it really use for some statistics say one thing where cat scans have proved otherwise...its more individual in my opinion...since i am not a scientist or doctor, I cant prove anything...:)
What I can say, is that there are many many books on dream interpretation, you'll find one Doctor/Professor saying "Dolls" means: x, y, z while another says it means: a,b,c then have another say it means: r, s, t....so you can speculate & ask how is it that each one says something different...well according to Jung it says 1 thing entirely different & then on the other hand Freud says something different...and all these other doc's are trying to prove both are wrong so they try other studies & say other things completely! Who is right?! Depends on who you believe more...according to what facts.... like once upon a time they said having more then 3 cups of coffee was very bad for your health...then came this doctor that proved them wrong & now its just fine if you even have 5-6 cups a day...so you see, what doc do you believe in?! What is the right facts??? you have to go with your instinct here...if you have more then 3 cups a day & feel really bad then stop if you feel much better then continue... There is no better doctor then you yourself on your own body...remember that! :P

So far, human dreams are unexplained. We don't know exactly why they happen, what purpose they serve. There are several good theories, like the one Tyra mentioned. Still, for most of our history, we've sought meaning in dreams, just as we've sought meaning in the coincidental events that happen in our lives, or in the alignment of certain planets and stars. It seems to be our nature to think everything around us is somebody trying to tell us something. But dreams are a fascinating mystery that need quite a bit more research for us to know the real reason they happen.
Well some people believe that dreams are your subconcious trying to process worry and other emotions By creating an imaginative world where the emotions can be dealt with without bringing long lasting damage to the subconcious Minor trauma can be dealt with through nightmares for instance Others believe that our subconcious has a deeper connection with the spiritual energy in the world and that through that connection either our guardian angels or passed away family members can send us information in the form of dreams.
You decide if you believe it or not.
it all depends on how you're raised and such. I'm part native american, on my father's side we've been taught to pay attention to our dreams. Also I recall having dreams of certain events that happened later on in the future, crazy sh** man. But even if you don't believe in visions, it can help you figure out a few things. Certain things that you be be repressing, or just need to figure things ou, it can hel pfrom time to time.
I think dreams can have meanings. I dont think they necessarily have to (or that we necessarily interpret them the right way). A lot of stuff that's in the unconscious gets worked through in dreams (of course, I realize that is just theory). As stupid as this sounds, I didnt really think about girls till I had a dream. It must mean something.
I think that people read to much into dreams. Personally. Generally you dream either about things that are bothering you or about things that you have been thinking about. I find that when I am stressed out that I dream a lot and even have nightmares, whereas when I am not stressed out I sleep like a baby.
I think most of'em do, even if it's a stupid little meaning.. I think it's all part of your subcoincous.. soo ofcourse they do, juss look more into them and study, colors are a big thing in dreams..
