Why do we usually take notice of someone famous after their death is announced?

Because the media, and some people, makes a bigger deal of them after they’re gone then when they’re alive.

It’s easier to praise someone when they’re dead and they can stop being disappointments.

People take notice because they were famous before they passed away. I do not understand your question? If an original person who isn’t well known or famous die, their death wouldn’t be on the new as people would not be interested in their death. When a celebrity, a sports person or well know public figure dies, their death is newsworthy because most of us around their world, have read about them when they were famous.

All I wanted to know was that: we barely thought of Whitney Houston’s recent life (or other public figures’ life), no one seemed to care on her problem of drg addiction, yet we all felt a great lost when she died. When someone was claimed as drg user or drg addicts, there must be a “mafia” who supply the drgs to them. Why can’t the police put their eyes on them so that fatal effect could be prevented. (Gee… I am sweating for composting my sentences. I hope they could be understood)
