You haven’t mentioned how much/what you are going to eat. Excercise to the extreme, if you eat like crap, you won’t lose 1 pound. Not one.

What do you need to weigh? Work it out using a BMI calculator and other websites. 120lbs for your height is too low.

Start eating healthily. For breakfast have fresh fruits, cornflakes, porridge, Special K. Have juice for your morning drink or water. Make sure after breakfast water is your primary drink for the day.

Lunch have a wholemeal sandwich, with salad and chicken. No mayo or salad cream.

Dinner have fish, lots of protein, and steamed veggies.

Look around for tasty, but low fat-calorie snacks.

Your excercise routine is far too busy, I’d like to see you do 300 crunches per day. Doing them you would be aching like hell. You aren’t setting yourself realistic goals. Go for 50-100 crunches instead of 300, 100 is a lot too and 50 wears me out.

I would do 50 crunches, then 50 squats. For extras walk to school instead of take the car, jog or join the gym.

I am 24 and have the same goal, but by october. I am also 5’4’’ and 120 is the ideal weight, but 130 is in no way overweight. do not starve yourself. workout everyday for at least 20 minutes (no cheating). I use workout videos, bootcamp ones help! Watch carbs and get lots of water, fruit, nuts(be careful to follow serving size) and veggies. Chew sugar free gum if you are craving and drink a full glass of water! I am on a strict 1400 cal a day diet, but I just started the 7 day swing (http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm#). My best advice on working out is to do workout videos and switch them up so your body gets confused…and you wontlet your body fall into routine and plateau. I hope this helps. Keep me updated Nicole

How to LOSE weight?

First, determine from the information below, what your weight should be. Then set yourself goals of a week, 2 weeks, a month, 3 months, 6 months and a year. As you see yourself meeting your goals it becomes easier. Remember, you didn’t gain your weight overnight so don’t expect to lose if overnight. Plus, weight lost slowly is more likely to stay off than weight lost in a hurry.

If you need conversion info, 1 kg = 2.2 pounds and 2.54 cm = 1 inch (12 inches = 1 foot) (1 stone = 14 pounds)

“How can I Lose 1 pound of body weight per week?”

One pound of body fat is equal to about 3500 calories. So to lose 1 pound of weight per week, you need to eat 500 calories/day LESS than you burn.

But it’s not a good idea to lose weight simply by cutting calories. As well as decreasing calories you should increase your daily physical exercise. This helps to burn calories and build more lean tissue which in turn burns more calories.

“What should a minimum calorie intake be?”

As a guide to minimum calorie intake, the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) recommends that calorie levels never drop below 1200 calories per day for women or 1800 calories per day for men. Even these calorie levels are quite low.

Another thing that helps to lose weight is to always eat a good breakfast. That helps to jump start your metabolism which helps start burning calories. Also, try to drink 8 eight ounce glasses of water every day. One before every meal (except breakfast) and before all snacks. That helps curb your appetite which helps reduce caloric intake.
